LADIES
Seven ladies took part in the
Ladies Classic stableford event on Friday 14 October
and thoroughly enjoyed the day. The Winner was Kerry Shearer
(36), Runner Up was Gael Tosio (33) and 2nd Runner Up was Pattie
Hoschke (32 c/b). NTP's were won by Roz Hemsley (3rd), Gael
Tosio (6th), Gillian Anderson (7th & 12th), Mary Ann Perry (15th)
and Maggie Oliver (16th).
MENS
Unfortunately started off a bit wet on Saturday for the
Mens Classic stableford event but this didn't seem
to affect the golf. A Grade winner was Nick Jenkins (36)
and Runner Up was Greg McLagan (35). B Grade Winner was Doug
Lowe (40) and Runner Up was Peter Giblett (39). NTP'w were won
by J. Piper (3rd); G. Jones (6th) (12th); R. Williams (7th); H.
Melville (15th) and P Gray (16th). Balls went to H. Piper(35)
and N. Farrar (34 c/b). Congratulations to all those players.
4BBB MEDLEY
Sunday was a beautiful day with 29 starters in the
4BBB. The winners were Pattie Hoschke and Nick
Jenkins (44) and Runners Up were Chris Cox and Sharon Brenton (41).
NTP's were won by John Lavis (12th); Mary Ann Perry (16th); Russell
Williams (6th and 7th).
The
Individual winners on the day were Chris Cox (40
c/b) followed by Nick Jenkins (40), Tony Brown (36) and Glenn Jones
(36).
And finally ... the
Aggregate Men's and Ladies Winners over the
three days of the Bellingen Classic were Nick Jenkins (76) and
Mary Ann Perry (67).
Well deserved congratulations to all those winners and many thanks
to Kevin McMahon and his helpers for organising the third year of
the Classic and to the generous sponsors Casella Wines, Carlton and
Coca Cola.
Next Saturday 22 October will be a single stroke event sponsored by
Creative Etch.
