15 players for Wednesday's chook run, and by jingo it's hard to compete with these high handicappers! B. Mitchell and H. Johnson both 24 points ,followed by G.Jones on 21.NTP to W.King again!
Thursday morning's medley attracted 14 players in glorious weather. Maggie Oliver had a cracker, bagging the win with 22 points plus the NTP on the third.Other NTP to G.Hawke. Welcome back to Marg Girdwood who played an impromptu short course alongside us.The afternoon saw 14 seniors take to the paddock, with the best score coming from Bruce Tait with 28 points. Prizes went down to 22 points and included J.Lavis, S.McCabe, C.Smith, J.Relton and C.McClellan.
Saturday's monthly medal, kindly sponsored by North State Finance attracted 36 players in overcast conditions.C.Smith found patches of form to win the A grade medal and the mug with a net 67, from Scotty Hulbert on 68 who also eagled the 13th! Congrats!Gross to J.Taylor with 72.B Grade went to Paul Lazarus, with a net 70 from visitor David McCabe on 71. Doug Lowe topped C grade with a 95/69 from C.McClellan on 72.Putts went to Russ Williams with a miserly 25.Other ball winners included D.Mayo, G.Jones and C.Blyth.NTP's went to S.Hulbert, D.Mayo (two), C.Smith, G.Jones and Russ Williams.Please look after your course in these damp conditions ,and keep the carts well away from worn,soggy areas. Next week's event is a 2 ball Stableford ,sponsored by the Old Butter Factory Cafe, which is a good opportunity to get those fourball matches played.
