Saturday's stroke game, played in three grades, was sponsored by president  Stan McCabe, saw one of our best fields with 58 starters. It was also the decider of our medal of medals trophy. Chris Smith was runner-up with 69 on a count  back. B grade was won by Kieth Biddiss with 72, from Doug Lowe on 73 on a count back. Keith had to leave early to help Morrie Tate celebrate his 60th birthday. Thank you Morrie for your generosity, as those after golf beers were enjoyed immensely by the members. Balls went to 73 and included T.Falloon, T.Brown, R.Falloon, R.Crawford, R.Williams, D.Lowe, G.Jones, and K.Lloyd.N.T.Ps went to B.Baigent, D.McLagan, Ross.Williams, H.Piper, T.Brown and C.Smith. The summer shoot out is open and you need to pay five dollars to be eligible for the whole season. Next week's event is a single Stableford sponsored by Coopers.
