3 chooks were awarded on Wednesday, and they went to B.Mitchell, W.King and T.Callander with 24,21 and 19 points respectively.NTP - B.Woodward.The afternoons short-course challenge was won by B.Nesbitt with 23.1, from P.Carter on 25.7.T1&T2 to Toby Cuthel,(and he wasn't even in the last group!). Thursday's seniors attracted only 12 starters with prizes been awarded to K.Lloyd, J.Ginis, R.Hickson, B.Denham and T.Brown.The scores ranged from 24 to 21 points.The short holes went to C.McClellan and Rowan Hickson. Friday afternoon's nine hole fundraiser , with a few army team taking part, was rather successful with 46 players venturing out in pleasant conditions. Team Crawford were the winners, with a lucky chip in on the last.Most players took home a prize.Thank you to Coopers for sponsoring the event.Treasury Wines sponsored Saturdays single Stableford, where there were only 33 starters.A Grade winner was Glenn Jones with a fine 43 points, followed by Merv Brownlee on 40. Bob Stockton had a return to form, to post 40 points, to win B grade from Rod Bruce on 39.Balls went to 36 on a C/B and include N.Jenkins, D.Lyon,T. Munnelly and S.McCabe.NTP's to Kieth Biddiss,with an ace on the third (his first), M.Edsall, G.Jones, N.Jenkins, Ruth Hall and T.Munnelly.Next week's event is our monthly medal, sponsored by the retired teachers.Don't forget to check out the table flyers, for our upcoming events in March.Please repair divots and look after the course… Cheers… Smithy.
